Mia-belle, Grayhart's Special Request, enjoying the hotel room***
Yes, we've been away since last week at shows in Maryland and just haven't had time to update the blog. What made these shows special was that Jessica and Mia-belle (Trixie-Zeke) drove up from NC and met us for 4 days of shows in Maryland. We've been really enjoying their company and look forward to a fun filled week in New Jersey. Despite the record breaking heat, we made the best of it and socialized with friends on the show grounds and did some quality shopping; lots of great stuff for Jess to take home to NC.
Pat O'Brien did a fantastic job showing Mia-belle, who went Reserve Winner's Bitch to the major today!
Mia-belle just got better and better each time in the ring and all the training from our friends on the show grounds was apparent in her showing. Bonnie even had her turn to show Mia-belle and they made a great team. Everyone commented on how easy and fun Mia-belle was to work and complimented Jessica on the wonderful job she's done training and socializing this lovely bitch.
Steve and I both showed Jam and she even went 2nd in a large Open bitch class yesterday with Steve showing her but unfortunately, she wasn't able to grab one of the majors.
Savi, almost 6 months old, also had plenty of show training and puppy playtime. She's become quite the traveler and loves seeing our friends, all the other dogs and bouncing on the bed in the hotel!Tomorrow will be a fun field day and then our Tuesday will be filled with obedience and handling classes plus visiting with friends...a jam packed couple of days!

Let me know when you get back from shows and training...we'll plan a Petco run and maybe lunch again... hotdogs? LOL
