The first day of summer is here and we started out with a lovely morning hike before it got too hot. L-R,

Jam and Trudy enjoyed stretching their legs on one of our favorite short loop trails.
It is amazing how every time I return to this spot, it looks different based on the rainfall and season. It was delightful this morning and the green grass and leaves seemed to sparkle in the sunshine.

Trudy taking a short break as she's not used to hiking. Even though the temps were in the low 70's, dogs can overheat and it is important to let them rest and give them water.
Jam is conditioned for daily runs/hikes/agility so she just keeps going, like the energizer bunny.

Gotta love solid stays and Savi is learning from her momma.
