Morning Marsh runs

There is nothing like waking up and being able to take the dogs on a fabulous run in the marsh just steps from our rental house. The house is on a salt marsh that is part of Pamet Harbor which leads to the Cape Cod Bay.

   Savi loves to swim and cannot wait to get down to the water.

 Chipmunk hunting is a favorite Weim activity!  Jam pointing a critter and then the three girls with a team effort but no, they did not catch the chimpmunk.

 Nature's playground! What could be more fun than a romp through the Pamet Harbor salt marsh.  Jam is still in great shape even though her belly seems to be expanding daily.

Pamet Marsh - a slice of heaven

Trixie enjoying a run in the marsh, hard to believe our girl will be 8 years old next month, still very puppylike!

 A favorite activity is taking a marsh walk in the late afternoon, with beautiful light and gorgeous views, especially during high tide.

 Trixie and Jam love coming back every year and we only wish Savi could have come but she is off at bird camp.

 Pamet Harbor in Truro on Cape Cod is a very special place and one of our favorite places to visit.

 Lots of critters for the dogs to hunt and places to explore.

Birthday Q with a 1st place for Debbie & Sky!!!

Sky, Grayhart Lightfoot Early Morning Rain, RN,JH,TD,NSD,V, (Parker x Trixie) earned her first Novice Standard agility leg today with a clean run and first place!!! Debbie and Sky, at a trial down in North Carolina ran on Sat and Sunday in novice standard and jumpers and they improved with each run. We are very proud of this talented team and Sky gave Debbie the perfect birthday present. Debbie said, "What fun we had and a great way to spend a birthday!" - we couldn't agree more.

No words to describe this amazing sunset at Pamet Harbor.  The remarkable note to this photo is that I took it with my phone!  A Palm Pre, which I seem to catch some of the best scenes with.
