Mia-belle wins a Specialty Major!!!

Congratulations to owner/handler Jessica for doing an awesome job with Mia-belle, Grayhart's Special Request,CD,RA,NSD, (Zeke x Trixie) for going Winner's Bitch for a 4-point Specialty Major at the Greater Charleston Weimaraner Club Specialty yesterday, under Judge Jon Cole.   A very exciting win for this special team!

 

 Mia-belle now has 9 points towards her AKC Championship, all owner handled.  Official win photo to be posted later.

Weimie Winter Olympics - Snowball Catch

 A fresh foot of snow, our 6th storm of the winter, made for great fun and a new set of games.  First up in the Weimie Winter Olympics - Snowball Catch!  Competing, we have Savi and Jam...finishing their warm-up lap around the house.

Bliss hits the show ring

 Bliss, Grayhart's Launch My Line, (Clay x Trixie), hit the show ring in Anchorage, Alaska last weekend with owner/handler, Mike Boyd.  Bliss was the only Weim entered, therefore, no points, but it was great training and she looked terrific gaiting around the group ring. 

Logan's celebrations

We were thrilled to get pictures of Logan, Grayhart's Watch What Happens, (Clay x Trixie) and Savi's littermate, celebrating his first birthday.  He's quite the character in his party hat...obviously excited about the tasty treats to be served...

New Snow - time for another snow hike!

With 4 new inches of snow, we headed out with Jam and Savi for a wonderful hike in the beautiful woods of northern New Jersey.  Enjoy the slide show!

Calm before the next storm...

 It seems that we've had a snowstorm every week this winter and it was wonderful to get out today, on this balmy 42 degree day, to get in a hike before the next snowstorm, predicted for Friday.  The dogs were in total agreement and ran full out, enjoying the chance to explore the woods and play in the snow.

Birthday Girl Savi

 Savi, Grayhart's Shear Genius,JH,NSD,CGC, (Clay x Trixie), celebrating her 1st birthday.  She spent her birthday playing with friends at obedience class and romping in the snow.

The best part about birthdays...presents!  Thank you to Savi's Godmother, Kellyann, for her pretty new collar, from Cooper's Collars. And Kel picked the perfect pattern for her PBP aka Puppy By Proxy, the Pink Denim Confetti Collar, because Savi is a party girl and we know will have much to celebrate in the coming years.  Savi also received awesome homemade dog biscuits from her sister Bliss as well as more gourmet treats baked by her human sister.  She graciously shared all her treats with Trixie and Jam, who drooled over the yummy goodies.
