Here comes Monty! It is always exciting to start a new dog on birds and we have really enjoyed seeing Monty run in the field and see how much natural ability he has. This young dog, has a lot of potential and we plan on training him for his Junior Hunter and to possibly be his owner's personal hunting dog.
With little exposure, Monty uses his nose and is smart enough to know that the birds are in the cover.
Monty, out of our Trixie/Parker litter, is following in the pawprints of his littermates, Sky and Jam, who already have their Junior Hunter titles.

We add the check cord to control him and teach him to whoa, hold his point, until we flush the bird.
