T-C Pups Day 39: Kitchen Invasion

The pups had a blast exploring the kitchen, playing with the big dog toys and chasing each other around the island and furniture. It took them a little while to get used to the hardwood and ceramic floors, but once they got their "sea legs," there was no stopping them. Almost all of them noticed the "other puppies" in the window reflection and were quite curious. They definitely wore themselves out and most of them crashed on the dog bed.

T-C Pups Day 38

Almost a good shot until the pups got up...the challenge of working with young talent!

The pups seemed to be either sleeping or in constant motion today and I was unable to get many pictures that either weren't blurry or that the pups didn't jump up at me or the camera as I was taking a shot.

New Rally Novice title for Mia-belle

Congratulations to Jessica and Mia-belle, Grayhart's Special Request, not even 11 months old, for earning their Rally Novice title at the shows in Greenville, SC! Mia-belle qualified in the Rally Novice A class in three straight trials and finished in style with a 2nd place!

We are very proud of this team, as Mia-belle is Jessica's first show/performance dog and she's worked very hard at training and building a bond with Mia-belle. Jessica also showed Mia-belle in conformation and improves every time they go in the ring.

Mia-belle is the first of our Trixie-Zeke pups to earn an AKC title!!!

Well done Jessica and Mia-belle!

T-C Pups Day 37: Bagels & Birds

The pups had an exciting day today meeting new adults, children and best of all, playing with bird wings and feathers. Bagels and lox were the human treats!
Tammy and Mike, who will be owners of one of these pups, are excited about which one will be their new little bird dog to join their 8 year old Weim, Riley.
Miss Purple retrieving to hand!
The pups went crazy over the chukkar wing and pheasant feathers.
This little girl was content napping in Tammy's arms.
Winding down before the next round of guests arrived. Trudy's family came with their three kids, who had a blast with the pups and tuckered them out. As always, everyone had a wonderful time and what could be better when you have kids, pups, good friends and food.
Trudy, out of our Trixie x Zeke litter, will be 11 months old in a few days. This pretty girl will be back in the show ring this Spring, getting ready for her Futurity at the WCA Nationals in May and working towards her championship.

T-C Pups Day 35: Busy, busy, busy

Two flying saucer bowls are needed to feed this crew
Another new toy!
Fun to carry around
A talking frog
A puppy Kong
Meridith came to visit and help photograph the puppies. They gave her an enthusiastic greeting!
The pups are 5 weeks old today and we had a busy day weighing them and taking stacked photos. We were able to see how the pups reacted to being in the kitchen and on the island for the first time as well as worked into a show stack. They were quite good being stacked and none were fazed by it, especially when they found out that cream cheese was involved in the deal.
Mr. Black stood like a rock star...the power of whipped cream cheese!
Puppy love is the best
Mr. Red...would you like a bagel with that?
