Deja Vu

A quick glance and you may think this was Jam as a pup.  Those expressive, light eyes, although hard to see in this photo and sweet expression. This is Ella, Grayhart's How High the Moon, one of the Summit and Jam Rockstar pups, who turned six months old last week.  She is staying with us and gets to experience Grayhart Boot Camp.  She made her show debut yesterday at the Big Apple Sporting Society show and I was very proud of how well this baby did.  She held her stack and gaited around the ring, keeping all four on the floor - a big deal for a young pup who hasn't had any show training- and most importantly, it was a fun, positive experience! She is enjoying being back to her original home, with all the toys and playing with the big dogs, especially Savi.  It always amazes us how the pups we've bred, remember us and go crazy when they see us, no matter how long it has been since we last saw them.

We've enjoyed neighborhood walks and if the weather cooperates, possibly a hike or two.  Ella will go with us for two more shows with momma Jam, who competes in the Best of Breed class, to gain more exposure to the whole show scene, with its strange sights, smells and noises.
