T-Z Pups Day 38 Afternoon Hugs & Smiles

Monty's family came for a puppy visit and based on the smiles, I think they had a great time!

Marshall BOW Hutchinson Kennel Club

On April 5, Marshall, Grayhart's In From the Storm, (Trixie/Parker) won Best Of Winners under Mrs. Barbara Dempsey Alderman for 1 point! Marshall now has 2 show points towards his championship.

T-Z Pups Day 35 Happy 5 Weeks Old!

It is amazing to find that the puppies are five weeks old already. They continue to delight us with their active play and affectionate manner, especially vying for the perfect lap position. Over the next few weeks, we will begin to stack the pups, explore new places, and even try to get the pups exposed to birds.

T-Z Pups Day 34 Why???

To my surprise, I found the puppies napping in the litter box!
They may have found it a cool place to be as we are having temps in the 90s. In our 2008 litter, Marshall was the only pup who enjoyed the luxury of sleeping in the litter box.

Miss Pink below finds the quickest way to a drink is over her brother.

Miss Purple thinks Miss Green's ear is a chew toy...obviously Miss Green didn't seem to mind.

T-Z Pups Day 33 Puppy Party

One of the most rewarding parts of being a breeder is the happiness my puppies bring to their families. Finding the perfect family for each dog is also one of the most difficult aspects of breeding but once we've made the right match, the new owners all become part of the Grayhart family.
Visiting the pups for the first time was a great thrill for these kids.

We spent the afternoon playing with puppies, educating the future owners on puppy care and training and what kind of party would it be without great food. I also gave a demo on how to Dremel nails with Wotan and Trixie being very good models. Party favors sent home included two training books.
