New Versatile Rating Title Awarded to Trixie!

On the same day that we confirmed Trixie's pregnancy, we received a special award in the mail from the Weimaraner Club of America. Trixie received an official certificate for earning the WCA Versatile Rating. We can now add a "V" to her list of titles.

From the Weimaraner Club of America website, here is an explanation of the Versatile Rating Titles:

In recognition of Weimaraners who have earned titles in at least three areas of expertise: Show, Field, Obedience, Agility, Tracking and Retrieving. Points are awarded for titles earned in each area of expertise, and talented Weimaraners can earn WCA Versatility titles: Versatile and Versatile Excellent through Versatile Excellent 7.

Trixie's "areas of expertise" include conformation, obedience and agility.

We are very proud of our talented and versatile girl!

PREGNANCY CONFIRMED VIA ULTRASOUND!!!

The black blob on the top is a puppy.Trixie was such a good girl during her ultrasound and we were thrilled to hear that she is full of pups. Go Trixie puppy mama!

Trixie and Zeke pups are due March 22nd!

This gorgeous head study was taken at a hunt test in North Carolina on the same day Sky earned her 3rd Junior Hunter leg. This girl is both beautiful and birdy!

Marshall's Official Show Picture

We were thrilled to get such a lovely win picture from Marshall's first show.
Marshall won his class and went Reserve Winner's Dog to a 4-point major. Definitely an event worth photographing! Laura did a great job as Marshall's owner/handler.

Sleeping Beauties

The girls, Jam (left), Trixie (right), love hanging out together on this dog bed in the kitchen. They have a perfect view of the front door and enjoy being close to me and all the goodies in the kitchen.
It is also a wonderful place to nap, especially cuddling up to your best friend.
